1. Dry mascara- Whenever you use mascara, try not to pump brush in container as this adds air that can dry out the mascara. This will significantly shorten its life span.
If its dried up because it's old, you should dispose it because it can cause eye irritation-- but if its not expired yet and it dried out sooner than it should, there are still few things you can do- No way we should toss something that expensive .. 300 plus worth of mascara still hurts our pocket :)
My new discovery: Boil water for a few minutes, pour them in a bowl then soak the whole mascara container for a minute or two. Make sure that it is tightly sealed to prevent the water from going inside the container. This should help the dry mascara to melt.
Or: Add just a drop or two of baby oil to re moisten a dry mascara. Just be careful, too much of baby oil may even make your mascara useless.
2. Curling your hair- No curling iron? No benders? Here's the fastest and cheapest way to curl your hair..
Aluminum foil. Yes you heard it right- Aluminum FOIL!
Ive been using my magic aluminum foil for a year now. It curls the hair 10 times faster than curling iron. 20 times faster than benders.
Crunch the foil and shape it like benders. Use it like benders. Spray to set then blow dry it for at least 5 minutes, remove the foils.. Voila! A very good curl that would even hold for up to 10 hours :) Try it :)
